Following a childhood dream to work with animals, pet photography was a natural outgrowth of my portrait business. What I love most about photographing pets is their uncertainty – waiting patiently to snap just the right shot ensures a portrait that is at once unique and captivating. In one, off-guard moment I can capture your pet's personality – I especially feel that our pets speak to us through their eyes so I particularly enjoy taking close-up shots of faces and eyes in order to catch a glimpse into what they might be thinking or feeling.
Whether your pet is jumpy, friendly, shy or mellow, I'll be able to capture their heart with just the right mix of patience and treats – and then capture their unique personality so you have a memento to cherish.
