After trying a couple of restaurants, we finally found a good place for Casado, the typical lunch in Costa Rica!
Although most places take credit card and US dollar, we decided to take some cash out from ATM.
Aaron comes out and say “we are rich!”

Well, not really. 100,000 colones is about $200. Things are NOT as cheap as we thought. We can easily spend $20 for lunch and other than fruits, things are about the same price at super markets. These must be tourist prices. Average Costa Rican makes about $5000/year, so everything should be cheaper, but they are not.
On the way back to hotel, we saw a cart full of milk!
The hotel owner told us that there used to be a lot more dairy farmers, but a lot of them sold their land to hotel owners or turned them into hotels themselves, so now the Monteverde cheese factory has to get milk from farmers outside of Monteverde.
